Friar Anthony will be speaking in Sacramento at St. Stephen's the First Martyr Catholic Church at the Parish Hall. Fra Anthony is the Superior of the Marian Friars Minor (Marian Franciscan Order) which includes the First, Second and Third Orders.

Our Focus and Purpose:

What is true RELIGIOUS LIFE for a Lay-person?

What is "The RULE" that St. Francis spoke of?  

...and if you keep "The Rule" of St. Francis faithfully until death, yes, you are guaranteed ETERNAL LIFE.

What is the object of the Marian Friars Minor- Third Order? (see below under "more about us").

Firstly, ...YES, it is possible to enter a Religious Order as you learn "How to live your life in a Religious Order in the midst of the world", while you grow in your relationship with God.

The process starts in "Novitiate" (a period of discernment for one year).  Our local group is a new chapter that began on St. Francis of Assisi's Feast Day, October 4, 2024 at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Secondly, ... We invite you to join us at our MONTHLY MEETING (no obligations, or commitments).  

When:  8am, every 2nd Saturday of each month.

Where:  Parish Hall, Room 7, St. Mary's Catholic Church.

How:  "Zoom-Call" Meeting led by Superior Friar Anthony, the (First Order) Friars and attended by novices around the world.

Discussion:  Q&A after each meeting.

Thirdly, ... If you are ready for the NEXT STEP...you can begin by "Discernment" in becoming a consecrated religious, Third Order Secular Member.
